Waiting on summer

Spring has arrived in the northwest. Like mole rats, we are throwing our pasty white faces up to the sky and reminding ourselves that the sun does occasionally shine in this part of the world.

And the minor showing from "Mr. Sun" has our whole family thinking about summer. These pictures are from a trip we took a while back and looking at them has made me long for tents, cabins, fires, beaches, and food wrapped in a foil packet.

Time to make some plans!
